Travel Grant

The CPC will reimburse the travel expenses only for students from Canadian Police Services (provincial, regional or municipal):

• One return economy ticket (air / train / bus) from your Police Service to the CPC.
• Taxi fare from local terminals to the CPC (i.e. current taxi rate from the airport is a maximum of $40 - tip excluded.)
• Return trip from the College to the airport, bus terminal or train station is arranged for, and provided courtesy of the CPC.
  OR
• Private car mileage for one return trip ( @ 30 cents/km) from your Police Service to the CPC, up to the lowest airfare equivalent.
  Original receipts are required in all cases.

Other Info

• The CPC is not responsible for any administrative costs incurred if the student changes their travel dates.
• Costs for mid-course trips home are the responsibility of the Police Service.
• Travel Expense Forms will be provided to students during orientation of the course and are to be completed on-site and submitted to the CPC Finance Section prior to final departure. A copy of the approved claim will be given to the student to provide to their Department's Finance office for record purposes.

The CPC reserves the right to modify any of the above rates as required, without prior notification.
