The CPC Library offers a full range of information services including:
CPC Library specialists produce subject bibliographies on police-related topics. Bibliographies contain references to material held in the CPC Library collection or accessible from electronic resources. Use them as a starting point for your research.
Most of the CPC Library’s physical collection may be borrowed by authorized clients in person at the CPC Library facility, or by using the CPC Library Catalogue available on the Internet. External organizations may borrow library materials via our Inter-library loan service.
Research and Reference
Library specialists conduct comprehensive literature searches and provide referrals to authoritative publications, subject matter experts, organizations, Web sites and other information resources. Request information or a literature search.
Drawing from its comprehensive collection of relevant, authoritative print and electronic information resources, as well as those of other organizations through interlibrary lending agreements, the CPC Library obtains and delivers publications (books, articles, etc.) to clients upon request. Training and Coaching
The CPC Library provides client training, coaching and support in the use of the library and its information resources. Schedule an appointment.
Visits and Tours
CPC Library tours are available to all library clients by appointment. Authorized clients who are not students or employees of the CPC, or who are not part of the Canadian police and law enforcement community, must schedule an appointment to visit the library facility and use the collection.
