In March 2011, the CPC’s Explosives Training section replenished its robot fleet with five ICOR Caliber, MK III. These new units operate on state-of- the-art digital system. They have a range of operation exceeding one km and can manoeuver through water and snow. They can go up and down stairs, and are equipped with infra-red camera. These remotely operated vehicles are manufactured in the National Capital Region. Their versatility and enhanced technology are a welcome addition to our training section.
